Small Business Diaries | Part 2 🤍🍓🍫

It felt like -30 outside and you still showed up. I’m so genuinely thankful and truly humbled by the support you continue to show my small business - it truly means the world to me🌎

There is always a learning curve when you have a pop up biz, and sometimes you don’t always know how much to prep. For the first time in a while, we didn’t sell out (aka I bought too much lol) and that’s honestly okay. We were able to donate the extra strawberries and give back through our food drive with Manitoba Harvest. We also donated a portion of our sales!!

Winter is also teaching me a lot about seasonality of our business, so we’ll be slowing down on pop-ups for now but stay tuned for what’s next in 2026🤍

Also, a BIG special thank you to for having us! They were such amazing organizers and have the most thoughtful and curate vintage store. Special thanks to them for running our BOGO deal too 🥺🍓❤️

My small business dairies | Episode. 1 🍓❄️

Six-ish months into this business with zero food industry experience, carrying boxes up stairs, setting up in -20° weather and questioning every decision along the way.

Costs were higher, risks were real, but I want to end the year with one more pop up & give some love back to the community.

As always, still learning and showing up (and wondering what the ** I’m doing sometimes).

PS: I didn’t carry everything myself. Big thanks to archival studios team and my dad & hubby 👀

I can’t believe it’s been six months since we opened our small business. Thank you for giving us so much love and now it’s our turn to give back 🍓❤️

There’s so much that goes into a pop-up that most people never see: the equipment we haul, the late night prep, the early morning setups, all the permits, paperwork and the constant planning weeks ahead and the uncertainty if people are even going to come.

It’s exhausting but when people show up to support our small business, it makes every minute worth it.

It may be hard but we wouldn’t trade it for anything.

That’s a wrap on our very busy November! We had pop-ups every single weekend, and it’s been such a whirlwind. A few big wins this month: we expanded our team and hired our first ever employees, we sold out at EVERY pop-up/event, and we hit over 4K followers on IG in just 5-ish months. So many exciting milestones!

Thank you to everyone who continues to support this small business. I’ve met so many amazing people along the way and I’m so grateful for you all.

This month definitely came with its challenges too such rising cost of ingredients, supply issues (aka me driving around the city every weekend for strawberries lol), getting sick and everything in between but I’m thankful for all of it.

For everyone asking about our next pop-up… I’m not 100% sure yet, but I’m excited to see what’s next 👀

Just a little PSA: we’ll be slowing down as the weather gets colder, so you might see us a bit less out and about.
