☀️ FINAL DAY BEFORE SUMMER BREAK! ☀️

Good morning, friends! ❤️ Today is officially our last day open before our summer break! We’re OPEN UNTIL 2 PM and would love to see you one more time before we close up for a few weeks.

🍰 We have a TON of dessert boxes available for purchase today, so come stock up on some Oakpoint treats!

🥧 We’ll also have fresh pies available around 10 AM, first come, first served!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to see us this past week. August is usually a very quiet time for us, but seeing so many of our regulars one more time before our holidays was so wonderful. ❤️

This year has been a difficult one for us behind the scenes in many ways, so we’re looking forward to taking some time to rest, spend time with family and recharge our batteries before the busy fall and Thanksgiving season.

And when we reopen in September, Oakpoint will be celebrating 49 YEARS! 🥳❤️

The photo we’re sharing today feels especially fitting as we head into our 49th year. It’s my nephew celebrating his birthday here as a baby, surrounded by my dad, my mom and my sister.

For almost five decades, Oakpoint has been more than a restaurant to our family. It’s where our kids grew up, birthdays and holidays were celebrated, family worked side by side, and countless memories were made. Some of the people in our favourite memories are no longer with us, making photos like this even more special. ❤️

49 years is a long time, and we wouldn’t still be here without all of you. Thank you for supporting our family through all the different chapters over the years.

Just 2 days left until we close for our summer break!

As you can see, we’ve been very busy in the kitchen! 😅 We’ll have a great selection of dessert boxes available today and tomorrow, and we’d love to sell out before we head into our break. So stop by and treat yourself (or someone else 😉) to something sweet! ❤️❤️

Whether you’re heading to the lake or just on your way home, stop in and grab some treats for the weekend!

Hey friends! Just a few more days until we’re off for our summer break! ☀️

We’ve got our Peach No-Bake Cheesecake back today since you all loved it so much last week! 🍑🍰

Tomorrow and Saturday we’ll be fully stocked with dessert boxes and pies, so stop by and pick up some goodies for the weekend before we close for our break.

We know August is packed with festivals, Folklorama, vacations, and all kinds of summer fun, but this is our last week open before we take our annual summer break!

If you’d like to sneak in one more Oakpoint meal before we close, we’d love to see you. 😊 As always, August has been reminding us why it’s the perfect time of year to recharge (it’s been
quiet around here! 😂).

We’ll be reopening in September, so make sure you’re following us on Facebook and Instagram, where we’ll announce our reopening date as soon as it’s confirmed.

We also wanted to apologize for closing an hour early on Saturday. We unexpectedly had to say goodbye to one of our beloved family pets, and we wanted to be together as a family during that difficult time. We truly appreciate your understanding, kindness, and support. ❤️

Greek vocab time! Kalo mina means “happy month” or “happy start to the month.” Woohoo! I love these little Greek lessons. 😂

If you didn’t catch our last post, just a reminder that we’ll be closing for our annual summer break. Our last day open is next Saturday, August 8th, and we’ll be reopening sometime in September. Happy Friday, friends!! ☀️❤️

We hope you’re all having a great week!

Just a little heads up—our last day before our annual summer vacation will be Saturday, August 8th!

Every year we get asked, “Why do you close in August?!” 😂 Well… there are two reasons!

☀️ Reason #1: We need a little time to recharge our batteries before the crazy busy fall season hits.

🥞 Reason #2: August is actually our quietest month of the year, so it just makes sense to sneak away for a little break while we can!

We’ll be reopening sometime in September. We don’t have an exact date just yet, so make sure you’re following our page—we’ll let you know as soon as we have it figured out!

Now… can we just say WOW! 🤯

Thank you SO much to everyone who came out yesterday for National Cheesecake Day! It was so much fun seeing so many familiar faces, and so many new ones too. We truly appreciate every single person who chose to spend part of their day with us (and eat cheesecake… which is always the right decision 😉).

Speaking of cheesecake… we may have gotten a little excited making all those flavours… 😂🍰

So we’re officially declaring it CHEESECAKE WEEKEND!

We still have lots of delicious cheesecake available today and tomorrow, so come grab a slice… or two… or five. We promise we won’t judge. 😄 It’s the perfect chance to try a few flavours you’ve had your eye on!
