🏙️🌿 october book club: yours for the taking by Gabrielle Korn
Shannon Theroux continues to keep our reading list full of books we can’t wait to talk about, and we’ve had so many of you tell us you were especially excited for this one. after our little september/october switcheroo, we’re so happy ‘yours for the taking’ is finally here !!!
set in a near-future world transformed by climate change, ‘yours for the taking’ follows a group of women whose lives become connected through The Inside Project, a massive shelter built to protect a select population from an increasingly unlivable world. what begins as a promise of safety quickly raises much bigger questions about power, privilege, control, identity, and who gets to decide what a better future looks like.
