Just 3 more days left for me to be ready for garden tour. Full disclosure, I’m in total panic mode. But I’m also realizing the fight for perfection is not only pointless but also not great for my mental health either. You can’t control Mother Nature although that is the exact objective of gardening . . . Trying to control and manipulate. Maybe a little more letting go would be freeing for myself, and the gardens. But I hope you come by and have a look, witness the wins and the fails, (there have been many fails this year!) There WILL be weeds. Sad plants. Happy plants.. and everything in between.

Ever wonder why your specialty double tulips look a little “floppy” after a few days? It’s actually a sign of life! Tulips are phototropic, meaning they continue to grow toward the light even after being cut.
Those heavy, peony-like heads create the most stunning, natural arching shapes. It’s not a flaw—it’s their signature style. You can always trim the stems shorter, but personally, I love the drama.
