Canyon City 50k - reconnaissance run.
•
There aren’t many better ways to spend a fall day than chasing your friend around a mountain.
•
The only thing that might make it better is when it’s part of a bigger dream.
•
The Canyon City 50k is a route that showcases many of the best trails Whitehorse has to offer within city limits - and the team here at Grind plans to host an event traversing this route as one of our annual flagship events starting in 2026!!
•
From beautifully groomed forest paths to exposed alpine ridge lines, this route has a little bit of everything - reminding us just how lucky we are to have this right in our own backyard!
•
This past weekend, and our very own .norman, made they’re way around the full loop to see if the link up of these trails was just as good as it seemed in all our minds…and let’s just say, it did not disappoint!
•
We’ll share more info about the inaugural event along with registration information in late 2025 or very early 2026.
•
Until then, for all you keeners out there, we’ll share the route info to the website Fastest Known Time - not that our little jaunt was fast by most standards - but more as a means to get the route out there and have people get excited about giving it a try themselves!!
•
Looking forward to celebrating this awesome place with you all in the not too distant future!
•
Until then, see you on the trails, with love
- Team GRSC

We’re getting closer folks!

To the prize draw and to general merch being available.

We wanted to take our time and make sure we’re only getting the best.

We just got these shirt samples in from Gabe manufacturing - a Canadian, union operated, apparel manufacturer using 100% sustainably sourced organic cotton. This particular shirt also uses natural pigment dyes (which gives it the somewhat faded uneven colour).

They feel freaking awesome and are going to make for a great first piece of casual wear merchandise for Grind!

(Our apologies for the cheesy video - we’re not exactly professional models around here).
