Well, that's a wrap on another summer at Burger Buoy. ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who came down to the beach this year. Whether you joined us for burgers, fish & chips, tacos, ice cream, a day on the water, live music or just a good place to spend a summer afternoon, we're so grateful you chose to spend some of your summer with us.

To our incredible staff, Joe, Sheila, Jase, Zachary, Brian, Grace, Chevelle, Alex and Jacob, thank you for all the hard work, long days and busy weekends that made this summer possible.

And to Model Meats, Watrous Bakery and Watrous Co-op, thank you for keeping us supplied and helping us serve up great food all season long.

Finally, a special thank you to our hard-working rubber employees, who once again held the window open without taking a single sick day. 🐔

That's it for 2026.

Level Up is joining us at Burger Buoy this Saturday, August 29 from 2–4 PM, bringing a mix of light rock, folksy blues and a little Jamaican influence to the beach.

It takes a great crew to keep Burger Buoy going all summer long.

And three rubber chickens. 🐔

These three have worked tirelessly to hold our front window open, never once complained about the heat, and haven't asked for a single day off.

But in all seriousness, we have an incredible team of people who have worked their butts off this summer.

Through the busy days, the hot days, the long lineups and everything else a summer at the beach can throw at you, they've kept the food coming and taken great care of the people who visit us.

A huge thank you to Joe, Sheila, Jase, Zachary, Brian, Grace, Chevelle, Alex, and Jacob for everything you've put into Burger Buoy this summer. We're incredibly grateful for every one of you.

And, of course, to the three weird little employees at the front counter. Your commitment to holding that window open has not gone unnoticed. ❤️
