Classic Breakfast is
two oven baked scrambled eggs, no dairy added.
Your choice of bacon or sausage. Always gluten free
Your choice of herbed hashbrowns or toast. The herbed hashbrowns are made in our little kitchen so we know they are gluten free. A simple blend of delicious herbs, on our oven baked, hand sliced creamer potatoes.

Eggs Beni is
Two poached eggs on a baked in house cream scone
choose from ham or tomato
top with made in house hollandaise sauce
on the side our favourite oven baked herbed hashbrowns.

Let your server know when you are seated if there are any dietary restrictions or special instructions. We will do our very best to accommodate.

Afternoon Tea to-go !

Take Tea Time home with you or perhaps on a great adventure.
This wonderful three tiered to-go tray allows you to do just that.

Summers are for picnics in the park, sitting outside and enjoying the sunshine and fresh air.

This weekend is our Lavender Afternoon Tea event. Enjoy dainty lavender mint cucumber sandwiches, a guest favourite tuna sandwich and an herbed tomato sandwich.

Rosemary and thyme scone and a apricot lavender scone along with cream and jam.

Finish your tea time with honey lavender macarons, mine honey lavender cupcakes and a lemon lavender shortbread sandwich cookie.

The summer breeze will be most enjoyed while you sip Lavender Earl Grey tea. We can prepare that hot for you or as an iced drink.

The TEAm is looking forward to your next visit with us.

Lavender Afternoon Tea begins today!

This is where I dream to have a lavender field one day.
And a pumpkin patch, and an herb garden and a fruit orchard, and a kitchen garden.....
One Day

This is the first of many year of gardening on our new property. This freshly tilled space ( thank you to my husband and thank you to the neighbour who borrowed a tiller to us) is a small beginning as there is more field to the south that I can plant eventually.

Imaging growing the herbs and garden greens in my own back yard that I need for the tea room. Imagine. Then I realize how much time that would take, how little time I have. But one can imagine. Until I figure out how to be here, and there all day every day I am thankful for Travis over at .

The Tea Room has used his microgreens in our berry melt and the fresh lettuce mix in the chef salad and chicken sandwich. Supporting local is very important to me. I can't always buy what I need from growers close, but when I can I am every so thankful and excited to pass this on to you.

Back to my little garden patch. Pumpkins will be planted first. I am super excited for pumpkins this year. Fruit trees will have to wait. What have you planted already this year?

Chef cook is responsible for ensuring that the kitchen is always ready for its guests. Foor orders, inventory, storage, following and creating recipes, food prep, cooking, and plating. Managing the kitchen on a daily basis.

The Tea Room is closed today.

Thursday June 4th we are open for breakfast 9am. The Thursday special is a breakfast BLT sandwich.

Lunch begins at 11:30 and Tea Time at noon.
Our last seating for a meal is at 3:30 as the Tea Room closes at 5pm.

The baker is busy in the kitchen today preparing sweets and scones for our Lavender Afternoon Tea event. Enjoy delightful sweets, delicious scones and dainty sandwiches on a three tiered tray with a special guest this weekend.

We don't require reservations for Breakfast and Lunch, yet. But if you are coming do call, let us know. we will set the table for you.

Responsibilities include
Reading recipes, following written and spoken directions
Measuring ingredients, mixing, slicing and dicing
Plating orders, making a salad, portioning
Cooking with an oven and a stove top
Dishwasing, housekeeping
Sweeping, mopping floors

The kitchen can be extremely warm, busy, chaotic. It can also be a wonderful place to make lasting memories.

Clearing tables of dishes.
Washing and sanitizing tables.
Chatting with the most amazing guests.
Scraping dishes prior to hand washing, rinsing and sanitizing.
Putting away dry dishes.
Scraping and rinsing dishes prior to loading a commercial dishwasher. Free facial everytime you unliad dishes.
Joining in the TEAm games.
Sweeping and mopping floors.
Wiping down equipment and tabletops.

Arriving on time
Wearing a hairnet or hat
Comfy supportive shoes a must.

Welcome June !

A new week, A new month
Great new things at the Tea Room and In Riding Mountain National Park.

The first theme for our Afternoon Tea is Lavender. The kitchen will be infusing lavender into our scones, sweets and savouries. Take your Afternoon Tea to go, visit the beach, a trail or a picnic table. Alfresco Afternoon Tea is all about creating lasting memories.

Treat DAD to a Ploughman's Lunch for Father's day. Enjoy a local craft beer with that or an iced drink on the deck under our umbrellas. Reservations for special days are always encouraged to avoid disappointment.

Sharing with you the summer tea season and endless experiences at the lake.
