End of Season Hours Update

As we head toward the end of the season, I’m making some changes to our hours.

Campground Office

I won’t be open regular office hours anymore, but I’m still available by text every day from 9am–9pm at 204-514-6599.

You can text me with any questions or if you need something from the office. If you’re coming for a specific time or day and need to see me in person, you can also text ahead to make sure I’ll be around before you head out. (I’m still available most days.)

Campsite and cabin check-in information will be sent out prior to your arrival and/or posted at the office.

RDR Grill & Ice Cream

We’ll probably be open for another couple of weeks!

Hours will vary depending on the weather and my availability. Online ordering will show our real-time hours.

With limited staff, we’ll be doing text or online ordering only, with a simplified menu.

Fall is one of our favourite times of year at The Duck!

We’re open until mid-October, so there’s still time to sneak away for a peaceful fall getaway — and you don’t have to travel far from Winnipeg.

Picture crisp fall mornings, beautiful sunrises, quiet days around the campground, and evenings watching the geese fly in and land on the pond as the sun sets.

It’s quieter this time of year, making it the perfect chance to slow down, relax and enjoy the campground at a different pace.

Weekends: $38–$50/night
Weekdays: $30–$44/night

Cabin Rooms
Weekends: $99–$112/night
Weekdays: $75–$99/night

There’s still lots to enjoy:

And we’re just a short drive from Winnipeg, so it’s easy to get away for a night or two without a big road trip and big fuel bill.

Camping season isn’t over at the Duck!

The campground is a little quieter, the summer crowds have thinned out, and it’s the perfect time to slow down and enjoy a more relaxing camping getaway.

And yes… the POOLS & HOT TUBS are still OPEN!

Take a dip, warm up in the hot tub, enjoy a campfire and soak up a few more nights of camping before the season comes to an end.

September camping has its own kind of magic — fewer crowds, more relaxing and plenty of time to enjoy the campground.

There’s still time for one more camping trip!
