A LITTLE MORE FROM ME ❤️

I also want to say something personally.

I am not a mean or rude person. If I sometimes seem short or overwhelmed, please remember that you may not know what someone is dealing with behind the scenes.

I have been dealing with health problems, and even breathing can sometimes leave me gasping for air with tightness in my chest. At Jingls, I am constantly moving — taking orders, serving customers, bringing food out, clearing tables, putting trays away, doing dishes, making coffee, cooking and doing everything else that needs to be done.

I am truly doing a multitask job all day long.

If we could afford to hire someone, we would. The reality is that Jingls is a small family business, and right now we simply don’t make enough to comfortably take on another person’s wages. I would never want to hire someone and then struggle to properly pay them.

So when you see me running around trying to do everything, please understand that I am doing the very best I can with what we have.

I don’t expect everyone to know or understand everything we are dealing with, but I do hope for a little patience and kindness. ❤️

I love Jingls, I love our customers, and I work extremely hard every day to keep our little family business going.

Thank you to everyone who understands, supports us and continues to be kind. ❤️

❤️ A LITTLE NOTE FROM JINGLS ❤️

I just want to explain something about our washroom, because I know not everyone may understand why we have this policy.

Our washroom is for customers who are dining at Jingls and have made a purchase. This is not meant to be rude, unwelcoming, or disrespectful to anyone.

When I am working with food, cooking, serving, doing dishes, making coffee and taking care of the restaurant, I simply cannot leave the food area to constantly clean and maintain the washroom.

It also wouldn’t be fair to the customers who are sitting down, eating and supporting our small family business if the washroom becomes dirty or difficult to maintain because it is being used by people who aren’t dining with us.

I truly hope people can understand where I’m coming from. ❤️

If I have ever come across as rude or mean when explaining this policy, I sincerely apologize. That is never my intention. I’m simply trying to do my best to run Jingls, keep things clean and safe, and take care of the customers who are here supporting our family business.
