Woo it is hot here in Vancouver! Tonight's dinner is a quinoa salad with toasted sourdough croutons- I cooked the quinoa last night and used the toaster today for the croutons, to avoid heating up our condo :)

I hope this happens. Shark fin soup causes too much damage to our shark population to be allowed to be served. Time to move on.

The sale of shark fin may soon be banned in Vancouver, Richmond and Burnaby as the three cities work together on a bylaw to have the Chinese delicacy removed from restaurant menus.

All the fantastic greens coming up are so delicious! Try some pea shoots dressed simply with a little Olive oil, Lemon juice, salt and pepper alongside your next meal :) So easy!
