2) Check out our website! You can find our restaurant and gift shop hours, the FULL menu AND some great history.

3) Include the kids when making a reservation. They need space too 😊

4) Leave your pets at home ❤️

5) We are legitimately in the woods! Wear comfortable shoes 👟

6) Give yourself time before or after your reservation to walk around the property 🌲🌿 weather permitting

7) And maybe MOST IMPORTANTLY, don't worry about 100 pictures and videos to post on social media . Enjoy the company you're with and the nature around you.

Just a reminder that dogs are not permitted on the property here at Pinecroft. We have a resident dog "Willow" who is an angel with humans and is excited to es**rt you around the property or sit next to you on the patio. But... she is not happy with other animals visiting her space. We love your animals as much as we love our own. And to keep everyone safe and happy we ask that you leave your pets at home.

Service animals of course are permitted but we do appreciate a heads up so we can appropriately prepare.

We just want to Thank everyone who has made reservations to spend Thanksgiving here at Pinecroft with us 🌲🌿

We are fully booked Saturday, Sunday and Monday ❤️

We couldn't be more grateful for the support over this past 2026 season ❤️

We are still open everyday for lunch until December 23rd 🎄

As social media has boosted our presence significantly we highly recommend reservations every day of the week.

We have unloaded the 10th ( I think 🤔) kiln firing of the season ❤️🍁 You will find lots of bowls, coffee mugs, vases and an assortment of other creations.

Beautiful handmade pottery made on site since 1948 . Every single piece is marked with
"Pinecroft Canada 2026" .

We are a little "old-school" here and do not have an online store for the pottery. Pottery is best chosen in person ❤️🌲 You do NOT need a reservation to visit the Gift Shop😉

The Gift Shop is open 7 days a week from 10am - 4pm.

We do apologize for today’s closure due to hydro outage, but once again out of our control. It was an unexpected situation for everyone. As soon as we were able we called every reservation to make them aware of the situation. Thanks to Katie for spending hours on the phone!

It is not often, in fact it is only one day a year, when we are open that we have our property to ourselves. Labour Day was a great day for us and now it’s back to welcoming our customers to enjoy the remainder of our season.
Pinecroft is open 7 days a week including holidays until Christmas ,weather permitting.
We will be offering our traditional turkey dinners for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. Reservations are now being accepted for Thanksgiving which will feature fall favourites Iike country squash, pumpkin pie and apple crisp. Fall is always a great season for some delicious seasonal specials to be featured on our regular menus, especially when we can source flavourful ingredients from our local farming community.

Remember that reservations are highly recommended. Our patio will remain open as long as weather permits.

Please remember that Pinecroft will be closed Monday September 7th , Labour Day. We will reopen Tuesday September 8th. We will be open 7 days a week until Christmas including holidays weather permitting.

Mother Nature determines how long our patio remains open. Enjoy the season while you can!

Thank you from the bottom of our collective hearts. Your comments from our last post have been such an encouragement moving forward and validation that we are doing the right things. It doesn’t take much in the midst of a busy season for a few comments to get you questioning everything. Thank you for putting things in perspective for us. We are delighted that so many of you enjoy Pinecroft. I can truthfully say that although this is our home, we are happy to share it on a daily basis. Beginning in 1921 the original vision of the property was to create a place of peace and serenity that would develop a respect for nature in those who visited. It was known then as The Cabin in the Pines .When the pottery studio started in 1948 and took on the name Pinecroft …a small clearing in the pines, the vision was that Pinecroft would be our contribution to a better world. Thank you for helping us make that possible.

Last year we decided to close on Labour Day to give our staff a chance to reboot and for those with young families to prepare for back to school or just spend time with family. We are doing that again so please note we will be closed Monday September 7th for Labour Day and we’ll be ready to serve you again on the 8th of September. Our season will continue until Christmas weather permitting.
