I would like to formally state that yes it did but with 358 votes. Coconut Ube got 354.

A 4 vote difference. FOUR!!!

Internally, our team was devastated as all of them wanted the full size Coconut Ube… so after some very passionate internal advocacy… we’re launching both ✨

march + april crumbs 🫶🍪

we were so busy baking, testing, restocking, glazing, surviving tax season, making questionable drink experiments, and accidentally creating sticky situations… that we forgot to post our march + april dumps 😭

so here’s a very belated crumbs of the month:
• mountains of order tickets (yay!)
• cream cheese lemonade R&D
• snow in april???
• cookie creature creations
• chaos
• laughter
• a loooot of cookies
• & tiny little moments that somehow make all the craziness worth it

sometimes we’re so focused on the next launch / next order / next thing that we forget to stop and look around for a second.

but these moments reminded us how lucky we are to build this weird little cookie world with such fun people around us 🤍 we don’t take any day of what we have, what we built, and the people (customers + team) we have for granted ever.

it’s also a bit of a sad time as a few of our staff members who have been with us the past few years (throughout their uni degree) are all now leaving for their big adult jobs & while we are incredibly excited to see how they will dominate and excel in their respective industries, we will miss them so much 😭🩷 thank you for all the laughs, memories, and forever history into our culture and our lil business.

& thank you to all our customers keeping us busy enough to forget what month it is lol & thank you for joining & supporting two siblings tryna bake the world a better place 🥹🩷🍪

Another “crumbs of the month” recap 🍪

TBH February was a blur. Somehow we blinked and it was March. If u scroll through the photos u will see exactly why… it was chaotic in the best way possible!!!

We kicked off the month deep in the middle of which meant the team was running on chocolate & whipped cream.

We were so busy we literally ran out of cups 😭😭😭 so obvi everyone became graphic designers bc we’re and here at BAK’D!

But HUGE thanks to everyone who came out to support our hot chocolate this year, we’re so happy to share that we were able to donate $1,500 to 🌈✨🩷

Sometime when I was cleaning the office, I found chef hats and I’ve never seen a group of ppl so excited for … chef hats… you can clearly tell they work hard over here 👨‍🍳

On Valentine’s Day, the beautiful brought in a lil craft station where everyone had to make valentines for their coworkers. Mandatory? Maybe. Cute? Absolutely. The creativity ranged from heartfelt to mildly concerning 😃

Bts - February was also a lot of celebrating ppl! We made a special cookie for my Grandpa Jack’s 90th birthday & it was flown to Edmonton (where he resides)!! & ofc it wouldn’t be a BAK’D month without a birthday inside the team too. Aaron turned… well… not actually one… but dw we celebrated him 🥳🎂🎈

Somewhere in between the madness we prepped our March drink launches & had an extremely professional photoshoot where I was on my hands and knees outside the store taking product photos 🫣 shoutout to as she kills it again with producing amazing drinks!!! 🍵 ☕️ ✨

So yes… Feb was busy, chaotic, slightly unhinged, but full of the kind of moments that remind me why we built this place in the first place.

These recaps are almost like a little journal for me to reflect on everything that has happened & rlly be grateful for all the things me, Andy, and the wonderful team behind us have built and accomplished 🥹🩷😭

I don’t know who’s really reading all of this but if you did, thank you so much for caring about a lil cookie cafe in new west. We have big things planned & so the cookie chaos will continue!

Meet our Lucky Charms Stuffed Cheesecake Cookie ☘️🌈🥣✨

A thick ooey gooey cookie stuffed with cereal milk cheesecake, baked until just set, then finished with toasted marshmallow fluff and a handful of Lucky Charms marshmallows on top.

It’s nostalgic. It’s chaotic in the best way. It tastes like Saturday morning cartoons but grown up and elevated.

We’re adult teenagers 🤪

We’re so freaking excited to launch our new drink specials inspired by St. Patrick’s Day and some cozy cafe classics!

Starting March 1, you can get:

🍪 Biscoff Cookie Butter Latte
Made with in house made biscoff milk, two shots of espresso, and topped with biscoff and cookie crumble!

🍵 Esmerald Isle Matcha Latte Our second most popular matcha drink obviously had to come back! Cold whisked with mint cold foam.

💚 Pistachio Latte We make a special pistachio ganache (made with real pistachios) infused with espresso and topped with pistachio cold foam.

☘️ Sip Me I’m Irish Another fan favourite we had to bring back! A housemate Irish cream syrup that is absolutely delicious. So good, we might make a cold foam with it...
