Café au Play is closing 🤍
Despite our best efforts, ongoing building limitations and operational challenges have led us to the decision to close Café au Play, effective Sunday, July 5.
What started as a dream from a parent on mat leave (with 3 kids under 5 😅) grew into a place where caregivers could find connection, children could play, and community could flourish. Café au Play became so much more than a café - it was a gathering place for birthday parties, family time, playdates, coffee runs, and the everyday moments that brought people together.
We’re so grateful to everyone who supported us over the last 18 months and we will miss all of you immensely. If you see our staff around town please say Hello 👋 They’re such great people and we are so lucky they chose to work with us.
Please drop in during our final days, use any existing gift cards and loyalty cards, and help us send Café au Play off with a BANG 🪩 💃
This past year has been especially tough on small businesses, particularly brick-and-mortar businesses. Hats off to those still fighting the good fight, and immense thanks to everyone who continues to support small businesses in their communities. 🤍
An announcement about equipment sale dates will be made in the coming weeks.
