I almost didn’t post this because Instagram is usually where we share all the good parts in our business, but this is real life, and Tuyen deserves her flowers too because all she ever did was put a smile on people’s faces everywhere she went.

Many know Tuyen as a Marry Me Mochi co-founder. To our Mochi Girls, she’s the sweetest boss. To me, she’s my life partner, the greatest wife & the best mom to our two kids.

She’s currently been in the hospital after multiple major surgeries & complications, going through pain that nobody should ever have to feel.

For 10 years, she’s been by my side through everything. Our very first wedding we shot. Our studio opening. All 17 Marry Me Mochi store openings. Every problem. Every late-night fire we had to put out. Every time something went wrong. But Yesterday was the first Grand opening she couldn’t attend and It just didn’t feel right. She never stopped showing up.

I just wanted everyone to know….Marry Me Mochi doesn’t happen without Tuyen.

People think we’re some big corporation. We’re not….

Behind this brand is our little family. Me, my wife, my sisters, my mom, my dad, my three aunts, my cousins, nephew and nieces. Sleepless nights, 4am mornings before the world wakes up, our entire family is making mochi donuts and glazing for the world.

Between the 5 founders, we have 9 kids. But somehow in a little over 2 years we built 17 stores while raising our families at the same time.

Tuyen carried more than most will ever know, giving so much because she loves MMM so much and believes in what we’re doing.

I’m not sharing this for sympathy. I’m sharing it because I don’t want her part of this story to be invisible. NOBODY, and I mean NOBODY, will ever understand what she sacrificed for Marry Me Mochi to be here but me.

Now she needs time to heal. She’s still fighting. She’s still Tuyen. But for once, she needs to let us carry things for her.

If you know Tuyen, worked with her or felt her impact, please leave her some love. She spent years showing up for everyone else. Now it’s our turn to show up for her. ❤️
