Sometimes you just gotta let it out 😂🎶

Why I start face up 💆🏽‍♀️

It starts with lymphatics and breath. First things first, I’m assessing how someone breathes, whether their clavicles are stuck, whether their neck and shoulders are tight, and following lymphatic drainage principles. Getting that moving first gives me a real picture of what’s blocked, what’s tense, and where there’s organ pressure — and it’s foundational to everything else in the session, including nervous system regulation (the vagus nerve can be manually engaged through abdominal massage) and tissue health.

Because the torso is a pressure system. Back pain is usually the last-resort symptom of imbalances in that system — not an isolated back issue. A lot of people genuinely don’t know how to breathe properly, because their entire front line — chest, ribs, abdomen — is compressed, tight, and stuck. When I create room, expansion, and breath capacity in the front first, along with body awareness through breathing education, the back comes alive and relaxes on its own..

Starting face up is emotionally intelligent and relational. It is how trust gets built. I can see your face, read what your body is communicating beyond words — a wince, a flinch, a moment of retraction — and we can talk about it in real time.

This is how I aim to address root causes and help you build a legit relationship with your body, not just treat local pain.

Postpartum care you didn’t know you needed 🤍

So many new mamas put off the care their bodies need — not because they don’t want it, but because it’s genuinely hard to step away from baby. The schedule isn’t always right, or it just doesn’t feel comfortable to leave them yet.

Here’s the thing: you don’t have to choose. 👶🏼

Baby can nap in the stroller, snuggle in on the table, or we just modify the session around what you both need that day. Postpartum recovery is necessary healthcare — and it should be flexible enough to meet you where you’re at.

Family-friendly, mama-friendly, always. Come as you are (baby included) 🫶🏼

Unfiltered chats on my couch with my good friend Steph, a personal trainer and athlete. I’m a Registered Massage Therapist and holistic health & wellness educator, and we’re talking about the things we yap about anyway!

This clip: should you change your training around your period?

Full conversation covers a lot more — mindset, nervous system regulation, mobility, lymphatic drainage, and what it actually means to work out in a way that feels good for you. Full convo linked in bio 🎥

What to expect in your first lymphatic drainage session with me:

Please come adequately hydrated prior to your session.

We always start face up, at the neck, face and then chest, arms, and abdomen. These are the focus areas for the first session and usually by session 2-4 we are able to get to full body.

There is no rushing here, as I meet your body where it’s at.

This is about your whole body’s health and not just trying to get snatched. Sometimes it takes time.

This can help with bloating, brain fog, inflammation, chronic pain, burn-out, jet lag, and more.

You may very likely be tired or have detox symptoms after your session, so always plan to rest and eat nourishing and hydrating foods after, like broths, soups, stews and electrolytes.

My wonderful clients report feeling sparkly, full of life and energy, improved resilience and deep restoration.

Addressing your lymph is one of the most beautiful things you can do for yourself.

What I actually care about is helping people learn to steward the body God has given them.

Your body isn’t something you just manage. It’s entrusted to you for one lifetime, and stewarding it well means understanding its cues and its wisdom. How to listen to it, treat it like it is a gift and learn how to receive real rest.

That’s the heart of the work I do. Every session is an invitation to slow down enough to actually hear what your body has been saying — where it’s been holding tension, where it’s asking for rest, where it’s been ignored for too long. My hands become a kind of translator in that process, helping you feel the difference between numbness and awareness, between pushing through and truly listening. Over time, that awareness becomes something you carry with you off the table — into how you move, how you rest, how you make decisions about your own care. That’s what it means to steward something well: not perfection, but attention. Not fixing your body, but building a relationship with it built on respect for what it’s carried you through and gratitude for what it still makes possible.

I’ve seen people walk in not knowing much about their own bodies and walk out with a clarity and peace they didn’t expect. A deep knowing and radical sense of responsibility for how they need to tend to themselves. They feel more attuned to who they really are. More at home in the mirror.

This is my intention with every client who lies down on my table — not just to send you out feeling relief and relaxed but to hand you back something you keep: a body you understand a little better, and the conviction that caring for it well is worth doing.

“Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.”
— 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

“This is where I have come to see the work of intentional bodywork as something much more meaningful than simply reducing muscle tension or providing temporary relief from pain. When someone is given the opportunity to slow down, feel their body, notice what is happening within them, experience safe and respectful touch, and practice receiving care without having to perform or earn it, I believe they are participating in an embodiment process. The practitioner isn’t doing the embodiment for them. We are creating conditions that may help make it possible for them to return to themselves. And in turn this can create impact that ripples out beyond the individual.

I believe that when we learn to honour the body we have been given—to recognize it as something created with divine intelligence, something worthy of care rather than something to be controlled, exploited, ignored, or constantly improved—we begin to relate differently to ourselves. And when our relationship with ourselves changes, it can change how we relate to others. It can change how we understand boundaries, intimacy, responsibility, compassion, and care. It can even change how we relate to the world we have been entrusted with.”
