So the city changed the name from "respite" to 24-hour low-barrier emergency shelter and we had to start a new petition.

This location is too close to a children's elementary school and has 0 outdoor space -therefore putting unknown risks into a small residential cul de sac with low-lit streets tucked away from watching eyes. A 24-7 emergency shelter is completely unacceptable for this location

Please sign, we ask that you do not chip in money that is not for the cause that is for the change. org platform - it is confusing as many see the donate button and think it's for the cause. We'll be doing fundraising at a later date through our main Facebook group.
