Salt as we know is an enhancer. However, any type of bread without salt will be pale and sad. Furthermore, the chloride ions in salt will help the gluten protein stick to each other, while normally they would repeal each other, this creates a complex gluten chain which is what we are all looking for because sodium chloride is hygroscopic which means it attracts moister, adding salt at the beginning will interfere with the flour and water absorption of the mix. At the end (the right amount of salt up to 3%) also help to slow down the fermentation process.

Note: more than 3% of salt will be detrimental for your dough because the yeast cell won’t have sufficient nourishment.

If you are running a marathon every day, you could probably depend on exercise alone.

If you are not doing that, then most likely you are not getting away with exercise alone.

Despite all the lies you have been told about cardio and fat zones. If your nutrition is not on point, cardio and the ā€œfat burning zoneā€ are not going to help you burn excess body fat…. Unless, yes…. Unless you are on a…..

Say it with us …. CALORIC DEFICIT….

The truth of the matter is, that exercise (apart from all the other benefits) is a tool to help you push you into a greater caloric deficit without starving yourself. The more activity you do, the more calories you can eat and make sure you sustain that caloric deficit for longer.

The point of this story is that you need both, your training and nutrition to be on point to be able to burn excess body fat. You want to have a good balance of cardio and resistance training, one is not more important than the other. They both serve a great purpose!
