If you are running a marathon every day, you could probably depend on exercise alone.
If you are not doing that, then most likely you are not getting away with exercise alone.
Despite all the lies you have been told about cardio and fat zones. If your nutrition is not on point, cardio and the āfat burning zoneā are not going to help you burn excess body fatā¦. Unless, yesā¦. Unless you are on aā¦..

The truth of the matter is, that exercise (apart from all the other benefits) is a tool to help you push you into a greater caloric deficit without starving yourself. The more activity you do, the more calories you can eat and make sure you sustain that caloric deficit for longer.
The point of this story is that you need both, your training and nutrition to be on point to be able to burn excess body fat. You want to have a good balance of cardio and resistance training, one is not more important than the other. They both serve a great purpose!
