Good morning from Sunflower Ukrainian Cafe Summerland

🌻 WE’RE OPENING TODAY! 🇺🇦💛

After a difficult few weeks, Sunflower Ukrainian Cafe in Summerland is finally opening its doors today, August 19, from 10 AM to 4 PM.

This is our first day back, and we’re starting slowly with a limited menu while we get everything back in place.

One little challenge - our display fridge was damaged during the power outage, so our cakes and desserts won’t be on display for the next couple of days. 🍰 But please don’t worry, they’re safely stored in a working refrigerator and are kept properly chilled. They’re still here and available!

We’ll be working hard to get a new display fridge and bring our full selection back as quickly as possible.

After everything our community has been through, coming back to our little cafe feels incredibly special. 🌻

If you’re able to stop by today, your support would mean the world to us. Even a coffee, a piece of cake, or a hello makes a difference. ❤️

We’ve missed you, Summerland.
See you today! 🇺🇦🌻

At this time, our Sunflower Ukrainian Cafe in Summerland remains temporarily closed while we wait for clear direction from Interior Health regarding the safety of the water supply and when it will be safe for us to reopen.

We truly hope to be back soon and welcoming you through our doors again.

In the meantime, we would be incredibly grateful for your support at our Sunflower Ukrainian Cafe in Penticton. Your visits mean so much to us right now and help support our small business during this very difficult time.

We also want to say a huge thank you to everyone in the Summerland community for your kindness, support, messages, and encouragement throughout these incredibly difficult days. ❤️

🌻 We're Hiring! Barista / Front Counter Team Member

Love coffee, good food, and chatting with people? We'd love to meet you!

Sunflower Ukrainian Cafe is looking for a friendly, reliable person to join our team in Penticton, with the occasional shift in Summerland.

What you'll be doing:
☕ Making coffee and other drinks
💛 Greeting customers and taking orders
