Falafel made from chick peas, parsley, onions, garlic and several wonderful spices. They are usually served on a bed of turmeric seasoned rice. In this example, I placed them atop freshly made tabouli salad. Add tahini to make the flavours pop even more.
Falafel is served as a platter or on a pita.
Come in and treat yourself.

We now serve Imqaret. Pronounced Im-ar-et. In English, they are known as Diamond Dates.
Imqaret is the plural of Maqrut.
An Arabic word for this date filled dessert pastry. The date filling consists of dates, anise seeds, anise liqueur, cloves, and other spices that come together nicely for a very memorable flavour. Imqaret go very well with tea or coffee. Enjoy them for breakfast, or any other time throughout your day. Made fresh daily. Come see us for this and other fine foods from the Mediterranean region.

Today I've added a new item to the menu. Beef Kofta. Made from ground beef, with exotic spices such as sumac, cumin, smoked paprika, coriander, cardamom and others. I've also added olive oil, lemon juice, and black pepper. The flavours blend nicely and remain in the background as to not over power each other. Served as a platter with turmeric seasoned rice, hummus, tabouli, and chick pea salad. You can also eat it in a pita with hummus, tabouli, and tahini. Come on in and treat your pallette to some exotic flavours of the Mediterranean.

Traditional Maltese pastry, made of flakey phyllo dough, filled with either ricotta cheese filling, or peas & meat filling baked fresh daily. You can eat it any time of day as a breakfast, snack, lunch or supper.
Best pair with our Italian coffee!

Today, my childhood friend, Jamie and her husband and daughter came in. They drove 2.5 hours from Toronto to get pastizzi when there are 3 Maltese bakeries in Toronto!!! Lmao!!!
I've know her family before she was born. Her parents were among the finest people you could meet. It was very nice seeing Jamie and her family again. Safe drive home. Thanks so much for coming here. Thank you very much for the beautiful clock you made for me. Markeeza Creations is Jamie's company. Very beautiful works of art made of wood, with the power of a laser!
