And just like that… it’s Kiona’s LAST WEEK with us! 🥹

Saturday is her final day at Qwal̓ímak before she heads back to UBC for her 3rd year of Bachelor of Arts, majoring in First Nations and Indigenous Studies (FNIS)! 🎓📚

We’re going to miss her behind the bar, her laughs, her good energy, and of course… her amazing nails 💅💛

Kiona, thank you for all your hard work and for being such an incredible part of our coffee crew. You’ve been an absolute gem, and we’re so grateful for all the time, energy, and laughs you’ve shared with us!

We’re so proud of you and excited to watch you take on another year at UBC. Go be brilliant! ✨

We will be closing early, this Wednesday the 26th at 12:00pm for a staff outing 🫶🏼

We will also not be attending this Fridays farmers market but instead will be open at the farm till 2pm

Thursday-Saturday: 8:00 - 2:00

Did you know that during the growing season, the veggies in our café come straight from Qwalimak Nlepcalten? 🌱

Right now we’re using fresh cucumbers and arugula, and we’ve got more veggies that will be ready over the next few weeks!

One of the coolest parts about this place is being able to grow it on the farm and serve it in the café. We can’t wait to share more of this season’s harvest with you. 💚
