Have you ever seen a Rosy Maple Moth? 😃❤️ They feature fuzzy bodies and striking wings with pastel pink and bright yellow coloration. The most common pattern consists of pink forewings and a yellow body and hindwings, resembling cotton candy or strawberry lemonade. They are the smallest of all silk moths, with a compact wingspan of just 1.25 to 2 inches. Native to North America, they are found throughout the eastern United States and parts of southeastern Canada. They prefer deciduous forests where maple trees are abundant. 😊 One we look for every year.
