Once upon a time, a group of high school buddies decided to pursue their dream of opening a food truck. After 6 months of hustling and crowd funding, the dream became a reality and Le Cheese was born! A year later, after a brief pop up at the infamous Cosmos, Le Cheese opened its doors on Monkland.
After 9 years on Monkland, over 75,000 grilled cheese sold, more than 43,000 pounds of Mac n Cheese sold, and more than a million smiles and laughs, it is with a heavy heart that we announce that Le Cheese will be closing its Monkland location. Our last day will be March 28th 2023.
We have made the extremely difficult decision not to renew our lease and turn the page and begin a new chapter in our lives.
We cannot thank all of you enough for all the love and support you have shown us over the years. Le Cheese is our baby and to see it grow and brighten the days of so many in NDG and across Montreal has been the most rewarding experience. We will miss all of you and making you your cheesy snacks!
We are looking to sell our food truck/ catering business to someone who shares our passion for cheesy food and will operate the business with the same love and dedication we have always tried to bring everyday.
