For some reason, twarog is not very popular here, you mostly know it as cottage cheese.
But it's not the same, it doesn't have any extra moisture and I make it with sugar.
All you have to do is warm up the frozen pancakes in the oven or fry them in butter over low heat.

In the past, I worked for more than 7 years in restaurants. Starting from a small cafe to a large restaurant in the center of Kyiv.

What is baklava?

Baklava is one of the most famous oriental dishes, consisting of several layers of phyllo dough and nut filling, drizzled with sweet syrup with honey.
I add orange and lemon zest for better flavor, and the aroma is incredible.
You can try it with walnuts or pistachios.
If you are allergic to honey (like me, for example), I replace the honey in the syrup with sugar.
