OKAY! OKAY!… I HEARD YOU. 😂

Every time I sell my Nasi Lemak, someone asks:

“Mar, can you sell the sambal separately?”
“Can I have extraa sambal?”
“When are you selling the sambal?”
“Can I buy your sambal?”

So… FINE. 😂 YOU WIN.

I’m working on putting my sambal IN A JAR! 🌶️🔥

But let me tell you… this sambal did NOT happen overnight. 😭

I’ve been in my kitchen doing sambal R&D like I’m running a chilli laboratory. 😂

I tried different types of chillies, different combinations of chillies, different ratios of onions, different cooking methods and different ways of building the flavour… basically, I made A LOT of sambal. 🤣🌶️

And after all that experimenting, I finally found the combination that gives me the flavour I’m looking for.

Then comes the part I refuse to rush 3-4 HOURS of slow simmering. Because apparently I could have chosen an easier hobby. 😂

And this sambal is NOT only for Nasi Lemak!

🍚 Rice? YES.
🍜 Fried noodles? YES.
🥬 Stir-fried veggies? YES.
🥟 Pau? YES.
🥥 Santan pulut? YES.
🍪 Hup Seng + ikan bilis + sambal? YES. AND DON’T JUDGE ME. 😂

Honestly, at this point I might start putting sambal on everything in my kitchen. 🤣

I’m almost ready to officially launch it! 🌶️❤️
