Hey everyone! Just a quick heads-up that our taproom will be closed for a private event tonight, August 20, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Spent grain, put to good use. 🌾🐑

Once we’re finished brewing, there’s still plenty of value left in the grain and instead of going to waste, ours heads down the road to Oldfield Acres, where Sean and Amanda Legassie use it to help feed their sheep.

It’s a pretty simple arrangement, but one we’re proud of. Grain that has done its job making Timber Ship beer gets a second use supporting another local operation.

Brew local. Feed local. Waste less. 🍺🌾🐑

And judging by the picture, the sheep don’t seem to mind the arrangement.
