In Loving Memory of Trent Wesley Micheal Doran
August 23, 1964 – July 14, 2026
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Trent Wesley Micheal Doran, who passed away on July 14, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.
Trent was the devoted and beloved husband of Maryanne Jane Doran, with whom he shared 40 years of marriage, unwavering love, and countless memories. Together they built a family that was the pride and joy of his life.
He leaves behind his loving children, Trent Junior Doran, Victoria Bernice Doran, and Stanley Alexander James Doran. He was a proud and cherished grandfather to Mariah Doran, Jamie-May Doran, Azalia Jordan, Draeden Doran, Bryson Doran, Emilyne Doran, Elysia Doran, and Braylin Doran, each of whom brought immeasurable happiness to his life.
Trent was predeceased by his parents, Thomas James Doran and Vivian Beatrice Doran, whom he loved dearly. He was also predeceased by his sisters, Peggy and Patricia, and his brother, Tip. He is survived by his sister Phyllis. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, including Mason Baines, Leliah Fields, Tony Levere, and Chris Levere, along with numerous extended family members and lifelong friends.
To know Trent was to know a man who loved deeply and gave freely. He was a storyteller at heart, always ready with a tale from his younger days, a lesson learned through hardship, or an adventure from one of his many journeys across Canada. His stories could make you laugh, shake your head, or leave you wondering if they could possibly be true—but they always came from a life fully lived.
Behind his rugged exterior was one of the kindest and most generous souls imaginable. Trent was the type of man who would give the shirt off his back to someone in need. His home was always open, his table always welcoming, and no one ever left hungry when he was around. He had a remarkable way of making people feel cared for, understood, and accepted.
His love for animals was legendary. Throughout the years, he moved countless beloved pets across the country, determined to keep his children happy and their furry companions close. His dogs, in particular, were among his closest friends and most faithful companions.
Though life often dealt him more than his fair share of challenges, Trent met them with determination, humour, and resilience. He dreamed of striking it rich in the mountains and often spoke of finding gold in the Thompson Pass. Yet the true treasure he discovered was not buried in the earth—it was found in the family he raised, the friendships he forged, and the lives he touched.
From the eastern shores to the western mountains of the country he loved so dearly, Trent lived as a wanderer, an adventurer, and a proud Canadian. He leaves behind a legacy not measured in wealth or possessions, but in love, kindness, laughter, and memories.
Though he is no longer with us, his spirit will remain alive in every story told, every lesson shared, and every heart fortunate enough to have known him.
Forever loved. Forever remembered. Forever missed.
