✨ Recently, I had the honour of preparing a comforting meal for the families staying at the Ronald McDonald House in Montreal — a place filled with love, resilience, and quiet strength.

On the menu:
🥒 Chickpea choka with cucumber & coriander
🍛 Trinidadian stew chicken with rice and pigeon peas
🍌 Coconut-spiced banana loaf

Cooking for these families, even for just one evening, reminded me how food can nourish far more than just the body. I'm deeply grateful for the smiles, the stories, and the heartfelt messages I received — proof that a simple meal can offer a moment of peace in the middle of uncertainty.

To all the caregivers and little ones facing long days and tough nights: you inspire me. 💛
