🌟🥎 Future Olympians Friday! 🥎🌟

This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming players from the Central Saanich Extreme 17A Softball Team to Cherish!

What an incredible season these talented athletes have had. After claiming the Provincial Championship title, they are now headed to Calgary, Alberta, to compete at Nationals!

We are so proud of everything they have accomplished and wish them the very best of luck as they take on teams from across the country. We cannot wait to hear all about it when they return!

“I love being looked after here at Cherish. The food, the bus trips and the wonderful staff all make life enjoyable—and lunch is a highlight of my day because the soup is so good!
The staff know my name, how I like my coffee and all my little routines. They make me feel special—like I own the place! she says with a laugh.

Visits from family and friends are always special—and sometimes one day simply isn’t enough!

Our comfortable Guest Suite offers loved ones a welcoming place to stay while visiting someone who lives at Cherish. Located right here in the building, it makes spending quality time together easy and convenient.

The Guest Suite can be booked through our front desk, with nightly rates subject to availability and change.

Because when family comes to visit, we want them to feel at home too.

These tomato plants are receiving plenty of tender loving care! 😉

Our residents has been busy watering, nurturing, and helping them grow in the Cherish community garden. Eventually, these tomatoes will make their way into our kitchen and become part of a delicious homemade meal.

Moving into Cherish doesn’t mean giving up the things you love. It means continuing to enjoy your passions in a place that feels like home.

Future Olympian Friday 🌪️

Alex “The Hurricane” Hutton was back filming with CHEK TV earlier this week to help promote his 2026 Race for Life fundraiser for BC Children’s Hospital!

We are so proud to share that Alex earned Top Fundraiser for 2025, raising funds for a cause that is incredibly close to his heart. After having life-saving surgery at BC Children’s Hospital when he was just 6 weeks old, Alex continues to pay it forward for other kids and families facing difficult medical journeys.

Alex will be coming into Cherish on Tuesday, July 21st to thank everyone for their generous donations last year and show off his new gear!
