We want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who attended the Jim Cuddy Band concert today and respected the guide ropes, designated entrances, and event flow. With nearly 700 people in attendance, your cooperation truly made a difference.
Events of this size take an incredible amount of planning, organization, and coordination behind the scenes. The guidelines we put in place aren’t meant to inconvenience anyone — they’re there to keep things safe, organized, and enjoyable for everyone.
While the overwhelming majority of attendees were fantastic, we were disappointed that a small number of individuals chose to disregard the designated entry procedures and felt the rules didn’t apply to them. When our staff asks someone to stop or tells them “no,” it isn’t about being difficult or unfriendly. It’s about doing our job and making sure the same rules apply to everyone.
We understand that being corrected can be frustrating, but we also ask that before criticizing our staff for enforcing the rules, you consider why those rules were in place in the first place.
To the 90%+ of you who were patient, respectful, and followed the event procedures — thank you. You are a huge part of what allows events like this to continue, and we genuinely appreciate your cooperation and support.
We want to keep bringing great events to the lake, and with everyone working together, we can. ❤️
