🎉 Dr. Rayudu Koka, Professor, has been awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Laws from Laurentian University in recognition of his legacy of transforming health care and his contributions to public service.
Dr. Koka is recognized for his advocacy for the creation of the Northern Ontario School of Medicine (now NOSM University) and his contributions to medical education, as well as his profound legacy of public service, including roles with the Council of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, the Greater Sudbury Police Services Board, and the Laurentian University Board of Governors. A passionate champion for multiculturalism and community harmony, he has spent over 35 years supporting the Sudbury Multicultural and Folk Arts Association and the India-Canada Association of Sudbury.

🎉 Dr Rayudu Koka, professeur titulaire, a reçu un doctorat honorifique en droit de l’Université Laurentienne en reconnaissance de son action pour la transformation des soins de santé et de ses contributions au service public.
Il a reçu cet hommage pour son plaidoyer pour la création de l'École de médecine du Nord de l'Ontario (aujourd’hui l'Université de l'EMNO) et ses contributions à la formation médicale ainsi que son action dans le service public, y compris des fonctions au conseil de l’Ordre des médecins et chirurgiens de l’Ontario, au conseil des Services policiers du Grand Sudbury et au Conseil des gouverneurs de l’Université Laurentienne. Porte-parole enthousiaste du multiculturalisme et de l’harmonie communautaire, il apporte son soutien depuis plus de 35 ans à l’Association multiculturelle et folklorique de Sudbury et à l’Association Inde-Canada de Sudbury.
