🧡 Every Child Matters | Artwork by Local Artist Harley Sinclair

This Orange Shirt Day, we’re honoured to feature a powerful design created by local Treaty 4 Indigenous artist Harley Sinclair.

Harley’s piece, “We Are All Connected,” brings together traditional teachings to tell a story that is both beautiful and incredibly meaningful.

The children represented among the stars honour those who never made it home from residential schools. Harley shares the teaching that when we pass, our spirits become part of the sky and join the ancestral family watching over us. His artwork imagines those children now surrounded and protected by their ancestors — and watching over us in return.
