💛 A Message From Our Hearts 💛

To our incredible Daphne's Market family,

This is not an easy post to write.

After many long conversations and a great deal of reflection, we have made the incredibly difficult decision to permanently close Daphne's Market. Our final day of business will be Friday, July 31st.

There are no words that truly capture how grateful we are for the love and support you've shown us over the years. What started as a small business became so much more because of all of you. You welcomed us into your daily routines, shared stories over coffee, celebrated milestones with us, and trusted us to be a small part of your lives.

We've laughed together, cried together, and built friendships that we'll carry with us long after the lights are turned off for the final time. Those memories will always mean more to us than we can ever express.

To every customer who walked through our doors, every family who supported local, every child who picked out a treat, every regular who became a friend, and every kind word, smile, and conversation along the way... Thank you. You gave Daphne's Market a heart, and we will be forever grateful.

Over the next few weeks, we would love the opportunity to see you one last time. Stop in for your favourite coffee, lunch, baked treat, or simply to say hello. We'd love the chance to thank you in person and share one last conversation.

While this chapter is coming to an end, we leave with full hearts knowing we were blessed to be part of such an amazing community.

☕ Every Bag Has a Story ☕

The coffee we serve and sell at Daphne's Market comes from Kingdom Coffee, a company built on a story of hope, second chances, and community.

This is their story;

Jim was homeless, battling addiction, and struggling with thoughts of su***de. One day, four strangers took the time to share a conversation with him. That simple act of kindness led Jim to a recovery center, where he found sobriety after a 30-year addiction. He rediscovered who he was, rebuilt relationships with his family, and became a man they adored.

Not only did Jim transform his own life, but he dedicated himself to helping others find recovery and hope. Tragically, Jim later passed away in a workplace accident, but his legacy lives on.

Today, Kingdom Coffee continues that mission. Inspired by Jim's story, they become those strangers every week—offering hope through a cup of coffee and conversation to those experiencing homelessness. A portion of every bag sold helps people get off the streets, enter recovery programs, and find a safe place to stay.

"Jim was my Dad, and this is his story."

We're proud to carry Kingdom Coffee at Daphne's Market—not just because it's great coffee, but because every bag helps support a mission that changes lives.

Things are going to look a little different at Daphnes Market.
We have made the decision to scale back and make life a little more simple.
We will not be stocking anymore product to sell. Going forward we will be focusing on coffee, ice cream, and our food produced from our kitchen.
We are working out all the kinks still and have not solidified how everything is going to look and work. But we have created a smaller menu to simplify and to be more consistent.

We want to focus on a smaller amount of items but do them well.

We will accept Lonepine bottles until the end of this week.

We truly appreciate everyone’s support over the past years, but we are tired. And we want to make things a little easier to manage for us.
