Hi everyone! Before anything else, we just want to say thank you. Thank you to everyone who has supported us, tried our food, come back again, recommended us to friends, or simply stopped by to say something kind. It truly means a lot to us.
Over the past few months, we’ve brought our Chinese Crepes and Tanghulu to festivals, exhibitions, and community events across Nova Scotia, and we’ve met so many wonderful people along the way.
One of our favourite things to hear is, “My friend told me your Chinese Crepes are really good, so I had to come try one!” Some customers and event staff have even come back every day for several days in a row. Seeing those familiar faces always makes us happy.
Some events are a long drive from Halifax, and the preparation, travelling, and long days can be tiring. But when someone enjoys our food, comes back again, or brings a friend, it makes all the hard work worthwhile.
We’ve also met some wonderful fellow vendors who started as our neighbours at events and have since become friends. Their support, encouragement, and help have meant so much to us.
Next, we hope to find the right permanent location for Jade Kitchen and bring you more foods made with the same care and heart as our Chinese Crepes.
We’re still learning and growing, and your suggestions and feedback are always welcome. We hope Jade Kitchen can keep growing and truly put down roots here in Nova Scotia. ❤️
