La La D's Food Truck

09/18/2026

Last year ALOT of you came out to the truck and supported Skylar as we teamed up with her to achieve a goal and raise money for the Terry Fox Foundation. Not only did Skylar reach that goal, she exceeded it!!!
This year Skylar is teaming up with the Oshawa Markets and we are excited for her success again this year! GET IT SKYLAR!!! 👏👏👏❤️

Come out to the Oshawa Markets this weekend and help a little girl try and do great things!

If you see us wandering around, come say hello. I miss you so much 🫂🖤

👀 Look what LaLa made this morning! 😁
What's YOUR favorite fall breakfast?🥣🥓🥞

🖤 Here's the recipe I used:
3 apples cored and chopped-sprinkle with lemon and set aside.
In a fresh bowl:
1 cup all purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp white sugar
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp melted butter
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup milk
Mix really well then fold in apples
Heat oil to 350 then drop batter in to oil carefully. (I did about 1/2 cup scoops each)
Cook about 6 minutes each side, drain on paper towel.

Drizzle with icing glaze if you want to, but why wouldnt you?, you've come this far!

For the glaze I just kept mixing milk and icing sugar together until it felt right. Still a little thick for me, but Scotty liked it and now we're out of milk...so...🖤

If you make some APPLE FRITTERS post me a Pic I wanna see! 👀😁

Has anyone ever used Sniff Spot for thier fur babies?
I have 1 dog that is a Walmart greeter type, loves everybody and 1 that gets super dramatic if another dog looks in her direction...from a block away 😆 We no longer have our own back yard for them. It was the sacrifice we recently had to make for a safe place to live 🖤
Dog parks are not an option for us and Id love to be able to adventure off leash and let them run and play together. Any experiences to share?
