👏 A ROUND OF APPLAUSE FOR OUR AMAZING COMMUNITY! 👏

We continue to be amazed by the support you have shown Steelsmith’s Smokehouse this summer. From stopping by the trailer and enjoying our BBQ to leaving a tip behind, every bit of support has meant more to our family than you know. ❤️

Something some of you may not have known is that we have been putting aside all of the cash tips we received throughout the summer for a very special reason — to donate them to Jumpstart for Kids.

Jumpstart is a Canadian charity that helps children from low-income families participate in organized sports and physical activities, giving more kids the opportunity to experience the benefits and joy of being part of a sport and a team!

This cause is especially close to our hearts. Many years ago, Melanie was a single mom working two jobs to support her son, Rylan. When Rylan wanted to play hockey, she reached out to Jumpstart for help with one of his seasons, and they were there for her family when she needed it.

Fast-forward to today, and Rylan still loves hockey and is playing the sport that has been such a big part of his life. 🏒❤️

Now that our family is in a position to give back, we knew this was something we wanted to do.

Thanks to all of you, our incredible community, your tips raised $740 this summer! Our family decided to top that amount up, allowing Steelsmith’s Smokehouse to proudly donate $1,000 to Jumpstart for Kids! 🎉

This donation isn't just from us — it's from all of you, too. Every person who dropped a tip into our jar helped make this possible.

From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU. ❤️

Thank you for supporting our small family business, thank you for supporting our family, and most importantly, thank you for helping us give other children the opportunity to get involved in a sport they love.
We know firsthand how much that opportunity can mean to a family.

🔥 JUST WOW! OUR COMMUNITY SHOWS UP! 🔥

Smiles all around today! ❤️

We are absolutely overwhelmed with gratitude after such an amazing Customer Appreciation Day. Seeing so many familiar faces—and meeting some new ones—made today incredibly special for us.

We were able to capture some wonderful photos of the amazing people from our community who stopped by to say hello, enjoy some BBQ, and spend a little time with us. We are so excited and thankful that so many of you came out to support us and celebrate the season together!

A special thank you to Lisa Olmstead, candidate for Cornwall City Council, for joining us today. Lisa spent time meeting and speaking with members of the community, answering questions, listening, and getting to know everyone who stopped by. Thank you, Lisa, for being part of our Customer Appreciation Day!

Steelsmith’s Smokehouse will be at Canadian Tire today from 12–2 PM for our Customer Appreciation Day!

As a thank-you for all the incredible support you’ve shown us this season, we’ll be handing out FREE pulled pork sliders while quantities last. ❤️

We’ll also be joined by City Council candidate Lisa Olmstead for a Meet & Greet! Lisa will be handing out bottled water and samples of our Hot Dog Burnt Ends and is looking forward to meeting everyone, chatting with members of the community, and answering any questions you may have.

With the colder months approaching, we’re already starting to receive bookings for upcoming events. Whether you’re planning a family gathering, Christmas dinner, birthday, corporate event, wedding, holiday party, or another special occasion, we’d be happy to help make the food one less thing you have to worry about.

And really… who says smoked BBQ is only for summer? 🔥🍖

Don’t feel like cooking for Christmas dinner? Hosting a crowd? Have something special coming up? Contact us for a catering quote or reach out with any questions.
