Just when I’ve given up hope of getting “a” - even just one - ripe tomato 😜 and a meal of sweet corn this year.. “mudder”nature surprises us !

Thanksgiving isn’t complete unless cranberry sauce is on the table .. sorry the canned jellied stuff isn’t what I’m talking about ! 😜

Here is a simple recipe you can do yourself using local fresh berries :

3 cups of fresh cranberries
1/4 cup fresh squeezed orange juice (bottle store bought is just as good)
1/4 teaspoon of orange zest
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup white sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Cook on medium heat, stirring and mashing the cranberries until the mixture looks like jam ❤️ you will hear the cranberries pop as they cook!

This recipe can be adjusted to taste.. we love the zing of the cranberry so we use this combo, but if you want it sweeter just add more sugar! It’s that simple !
