We’re looking to expand our team!!

We’re currently looking to hire both a cook AND a part-time server.

For our cook position, we’re looking for somebody WITH kitchen experience and open availability. Available to work days, evenings, and/or weekends.

And for our part-time server position, we’re also looking for somebody WITH restaurant experience who is 19 years or older and has open availability. Available to work days, evenings, and/or weekends.

What a weekend!! ✨

First and foremost, we want to say the biggest THANK YOU to everyone who joined and supported us on our opening weekend!

Seeing so many of you walk through our doors, some familiar faces and so many new ones, meant more to us than we could ever put into words. The support, patience, kind words, and excitement you’ve shown us have been absolutely incredible, and we are so grateful.

With that being said, we also want to acknowledge that our first weekend came with a few bumps in the road. We know there were longer wait times than we would have liked, some mix-ups, and moments where things didn’t run as smoothly as we had hoped. To everyone who experienced any of those growing pains, we sincerely apologize and truly appreciate your patience and understanding while we found our footing. ❤️

We’ve spent the last two days taking a good look at everything — what worked, what didn’t, and what we can do better. We’ve listened to your feedback, reviewed our menu, and used the past couple of days to revamp and fine-tune things so we can better serve you moving forward.

Attached is a fresh copy of our newly revamped ALL-DAY MENU, available from 11AM-7PM! As well as some daily specials… 🍽️

We knew opening Ruby’s would come with a few learning curves, but there’s nothing quite like opening those doors for the first time and learning as you go! This weekend helped us see where we needed to make changes, and we’re heading into this week feeling much more prepared and excited about what’s ahead.

We’re still learning, we’re still growing, and we’re going to continue doing everything we can to make Ruby’s the best it can be.

We truly can’t thank you all enough for the support you’ve shown us — not only this weekend, but throughout this entire journey. It means more than you know. ❤️

We want to say a huge thank you to our wonderful neighbours Taste & Sea and Aura clothing shop for the amazing gifts today!
Wally & Dawn gifted us with a beautiful dining set and Kat with a very lovely flower arrangement!
Talk about a sense of community and belonging from these businesses.
Bringing small local businesses together on water street can only benefit us all!!

It’s Opening Day Eve!! ❤️

We just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone for being so, so patient with us while we’ve been getting everything ready. The support and excitement we’ve received have been unlike anything we could have imagined, and we appreciate it more than you know!

We couldn’t be more excited to welcome you all in, see some familiar faces, meet some new ones, serve you some AMAZING food, and finally share Ruby’s with you!

We’ve all put so much time, love, and hard work into getting to this point, and it feels a little surreal that tomorrow is finally the day! 🥹
