𝗔 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗼𝗻𝗴… 🌕
I first discovered Dacquoise Sandwich at a café in Hong Kong and instantly fell in love with them.
The café owner told me she was inspired by a Korean café she visited, which sparked my curiosity about this little pastry.
As I started learning more about Dacquoise Sandwich , I was also fascinated by the many creative flavours and styles I found in Taiwan bakery shops. That inspired me to experiment with Asian twist, and bring them to Vancouver here.
So here we are: Dacquoise Sandwich. 💕

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝘂𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝗗𝗮𝗰𝗾𝘂𝗼𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘄𝗶𝗰𝗵 …
Same meringue family as macaron, completely different personality.
A Dacquoise starts with almond meringue, just like macarons, but that’s where the similarities pretty much end.
Lightly crisp on the outside, soft and slightly chewy inside, with delicate filling in the middle.
My favourite part? It’s light and delicate in texture, yet thick, generous, and full of flavour in every bite … incredibly easy to fall in love with.
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗮 𝗯𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗳𝗹𝗮𝘃𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀?…
𝗔 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗳𝗹𝗮𝘃𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 …
I wanted to play with different teas —
something very Asian-inspired,
and something that just feels right for Mid-Autumn.
Tea & buttercream? That’s it?
No…. each one gets a little something extra,
a fruity, nutty or crunchy surprise
to make every bite a little more interesting. ✨
𝗖𝗮𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗽𝗶𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗶𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗮𝘆?…

A little something to enjoy with your coffee or tea.
Light, delicate and not overly sweet — just the kind of treat I personally love having in the afternoon or after dinner.
Or course, have our Dacquoise Sandwiches to celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival with your beloved ones.
