We're always on the hunt for awesome and talented people to join the Betta Jerk team. While the search for amazing people never ends, we’re specifically looking for someone with a great personality (restaurant experience an asset - only because it demonstrate that you know how tough the job can be). This person needs to have a great personality and be able to get their hands dirty.
Duties include serving, washing dishes (yes - big pots and pan). If you love Authentic Jamaican food and believe you can handle this hard working environment and are interested in joining the team, we would love to talk to you! As long as you are passionate, talented, and willing to learn.

• Work well individually and within a team setting
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Flexible - work schedule -- must be available evenings and weekends
• Able to prepare and serve food items as required by customer
• Ability to do what is required within a kitchen setting (includes – washing dishes,
pots, mopping floors, wiping tables)
To Be Successful, We Look For The Following:
• Previous restaurant experience an asset but not required
• Communication is key, so you'll need to speak and write English well.
• Comfortable using computers and learning new software.
• Ability to manage sales goals, inventory, cash
• Previous scheduling experience and Smart Serve Certification is an asset
• Handles sales and monetary transactions using Point Of Sales System
• Maintains restaurant cleanliness, stock and order at all times
• Assists with inventory counts as required
• Communicates clearly, concisely and accurately with staff and customers
• Demonstrates integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote a unify culture
• Models a "customer comes first" attitude, delivering exceptional customer
service at all times
• Assisting with food preparation, cooking, meal service as assigned (cutting
meat, cleaning meat, cooking food)
• Cleaning dishes and utensils
