We wanted to share a little something from the heart with our wonderful customers. ❤️
If you’ve visited us over the past few months, you will probably have noticed that our British grocery shelves were looking much emptier than usual.
We want you to know that this was never because we’d lost our love for the tearoom or the grocery side of our business. The reality is simply that, like many small businesses, sometimes you go through difficult periods. Costs continue to rise, there are bills to pay, staff to look after, and sometimes you have to make difficult decisions about where your money needs to go.
But we’re really happy to say that things are starting to look a lot fuller again! ❤️
Last week we received a big crisp delivery, we’ve restocked more of your favourite British chocolate, and our freezer is full again. The front of our grocery room is already looking so much better.
You may notice that the back section is currently looking rather bare — but this time, that’s intentional! We’re making space and eagerly awaiting our next deliveries over the coming weeks, which will include lots of our winter and Christmas goodies. 🎄🇬🇧
Running a small independent business certainly has its ups and downs, but we absolutely love what we do and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who continues to walk through our doors.
Whether you come in for breakfast, fish & chips, afternoon tea, a packet of crisps, a bar of chocolate, trivia night or simply a cup of tea — every single purchase matters to a small business like ours.
Thank you for sticking with us through the quieter shelves and for continuing to support Campbell’s British Tea Room. We’re still here, we still love what we do, and we’re looking forward to filling those shelves with lots of British favourites again. ❤️🇬🇧
