This is a recipe I found in my cookbook called Favorite Brand Name Classic Recipe Collection. It's really easy to make and the oranges offer a really refreshing citrus boost to the iced tea. I didn't include chilling time in the preparation time.

How great to be back in a kitchen again doing meaningful work! Today I started a part time position as a cook at the Salvation Army soup kitchen and I have already met some incredible people. Don't worry - I'm still your Dishcrawl go-to girl! :)

I just want to take a moment and thank the diners who came out to try the first ever Barrie Dishcrawl in Barrie. It was great to meet you, Dannielle, Phillip, Ian, Joanne, Maurice, Connie, Rhonda, Michelle, Emily, Patrice and Mark. Thanks too to my husband, Ron, the photographer/gopher/runner! Couldn't have done it without you people! :)

Was it dessert or was it art work? The eyes and taste buds were treated royally by a trio of gems, including tiramisu, a sabayon and creme brule. Too pretty to eat, too delicious NOT to! (So we did.) I love what Chef Marco has done with this 1875 brick home that is now home to The North Restaurant.

Chef Greg of the Painters Hall, thrilled his diners, as he always does, when he combined 2 of his signature dishes on 1 platter. The gnocchi was melt-in-your-mouth good and the meat lovers in our group were bowled over by the short ribs - still talking about it down the street and into our next restaurant!
