When we first started at the markets with a small tent, my wife and I always hoped that one day our son might be part of it with us.
Since then, the tent became a trailer, we made it through COVID, and eventually opened our restaurant in Banff.
This summer, that little hope finally became a reality. He wanted to give it a try and joined his mom at the market as our cashier — his very first job.
We’re especially grateful to all of our regular customers who have been so kind and supportive of him. You’ve helped make his first work experience a very special one.
With summer break coming to an end, tomorrow and the following day will be his last two market days before heading back to school.
If you see him, please say hi or give him a little encouragement. We’re sure it’ll become another great memory from his first summer on the job.
The markets continue — he’s just heading back to school!
