From July, we switch to our summer schedule — as we do every year.

No lunch for a while — it’ll be back in September.
No lunch means more time to prep. More time to prep means better food. Simple as that.
Monday till Friday.
Open from 16:30 until 23:00.

NEW: Saturdays and Sundays we’re keeping free for something else. Private events, collabs, whatever you have in mind — come and tell us. Big or small, serious or spontaneous. We’ll talk.

Oh, and one more thing. We’re still looking for the right people. Kitchen, floor, flexi, student — if Elvire means something to you, send a message. You never know.

NEWSFLASH!

January is already over! It’s almost laughable to realize that all I had to do was roll my eyes twice...

The past month has been all about rebalancing. Challenging times. On the other hand, it’s been incredibly rewarding to be able to reconnect with my creativity. After being out of the kitchen for 10 months, I’ve noticed a greater sense of je m’en foutisme. No compromises. Just cooking what feels right. Honestly, after all these years, I’m still trying to figure out who I am as a chef. But I’m getting better at it.

Go check our website for the current menu, and note the pork belly with the salsify and buttermilk. For me, this is Elvire. It immediately takes me back to her kitchen table and gives me some wild body memory.

But back to real business!

* We’re open this coming Saturday, and we’re offering a menu for €68. So Valentines, besties, unite. Menu is in the pics! Or you can also just eat à la carte. Just come by, we’ll make it cozy.
* We have committed ourselves to recharge batteries for the coming spring, so we will be closed for 2 weeks (from March 2nd to March 16th)
* During this period, we anticipate some interior changes, which we’re very much looking forward to. More character, more Elvire.
* We’re getting a lot of messages asking if we can serve burgers on other days besides Wednesday. So, due to our holiday, the week of February 23rd to 27th. Burgers all day.

We wish you all the best, good health, and lots of energy.

Slow down, speed up. Follow the rhythm. Dance. And eat. In the best company, alone. Be welcome.

And let me thank everyone for their numerous visits in 2025. To be so eagerly 🥹 May it be another year full of indulgence.

But not without a final look back!

I strongly believe that people come along at the right time, as if everything is orchestrated. And therefore I’m very grateful for the past year.
In addition to fantastic flexi’s and students, Elvire 2025 will above all be and . 🙏🏻

Both on their way to new adventures but I’ll carry them with me into 2026. Enjoy! 💕

We have a worthy winner for our brunch , but good news: there are still spots available! We’re even holding a few last-minute seats. 28/12 and 4/1 it is.

Note that we will also be open exceptionally on Saturdays, December 27th and January 3rd, as well as on Friday evenings, December 26th and January 2nd.

And lastly, we have the mock-ups of our long-awaited new merchandise. Pre-sale starts here and now, send me a DM. Then maybe it’ll end up under the Christmas tree in time. A huge thank you for the design and for patiently handling my yes/no’s 💝

Hello there! The new year is gradually approaching, so we’re starting to prepare.

final weeks have started! You
can still admire him until December 19nd and then he leaves for new adventures. 👨🏼‍🍳

From that moment on, I’ll be taking back my kitchen. The past period has brought a lot of peace, and I’ve really enjoyed connecting directly with my customers but now the itch is back!

Quite a few other announcements on the side. Elvire will be closed on December 24th and 25th, as well as January 1st and 2nd, BUT we will open exceptionally on December 27th and January 3th.

It seems like we have to learn to work with newsletters, but for now we’ll just communicate here! 😁

The end of the year is just a blink away, so we’ll be taking it a bit easier next week. Closed on Wednesday 12/11, and lunches on Thursday/Friday. But that’s it for the bad!
Very much welcome to come by in the evenings 💙

What else are we up to?
In a nutshell!

• New merchandise, much busy on the design. Very excited.
• We’re systematically making kilos of pickles behind the scenes because they’re selling like hotcakes AND because we know they’re such a great and humble Christmas gift.
• Collecting recipes for our cozy annual Christmas brunches and deciding when we’ll be opening extra this holiday season.

We’ll start with the “bad”!
Thomas will be leaving our spaceship at the end of the year, as we agreed. And it goes without saying that this brings a bit of pain in the heart…

But after this I rather prefer to mention that I’m very grateful for the past period, for the support in making changes. For the creativity, the trust and the perseverance.
