Rating food from Khao San
We visited Khao San a lot of times in a while . So now reviewing a lot of food items together. I almost forgot the price of some items.
🎀Khao San Seafood rice : 395 Tk (9/10)
It’s so good tbh. Have a lot of shrimps in it and black mushroom. I love it more than Yum Cha seafood rice.
🎀Chicken in Holy Basil: 385 Tk (3/10)
Only giving it 3 because it kinda smelled nice like thai leaves. But it was so bad. Watery chicken with a hint of tomato sauce. Never ordering it again
🎀Seafood in Yellow curry: 435 Tk (10/10)
Honestly best thing on earth to exist. Have dory fish bites and shrimp in it with a coconut curry. I could have it all day long.
🎀Seafood soup: 265 Tk (10/10)
I always love clear seafood soup. It have dory fish, crab, and big pieces of shrimp in it. It’s so simple and I just love having it.
🎀Tom Kha : 285 Tk (3/10)
Honestly it didn’t go with my taste bud. It tasted a lot sweeter and I love my soup to be spicy.
🎀Coconut Ice cream over Sticky Rice : 205 Tk (6/10)
I had better coconut ice cream than this. Didn’t like it that much.
🎀Tapioca Mango Pudding: 315 Tk (8/10)
Not a fan of mango but I love how the dish texture is. The tapioca pearls and sabu dana (forgot the English name)had a very very good combination
🎀Mango sticky Rice: 385 Tk (3/10)
I just didn’t like it. The taste was just below avey.
🎀Thai Ice Milk Tea: 295 ( 8/10)
Loved it but they have watered down it a lot ig. I saw it in my last two visits.
🎀Iced Milo: 235 Tk (10/10)
I just love it. I like how they put a lot of milo in it. I always order it.

So overall it is one of our go to place. I love how their staff are welcoming. Also I love the Dhanmondi outlet than the Banani one mainly because of the staff behaviour.

The experience at SOI71 is just spectacular. The overall ambience, the food, and the staff is top notch.

Food we ordered:
1. Thick Thai soup : BDT 1000
It was very creamy and had jumbo shrimps. But it was a little bit sweet for my tastebud. I like my soup on a spicier version.
Rate: 7/10
2. Spring roll : BDT 700.
It was crunchy ,tasty and everything you want right in your spring roll to dip into your soup. It had a vegetable filling
Rate 8/10 (deducting two marks because of price)
3. Hot and sour chicken: BDT 1200
This chicken was the best thing I had. It had a smokey flavour and the sweet and sour sauce they put is just amazing. After having the soup we were so full but having one bite of the chicken brought out our cravings back.
4. Egg Fried Rice: BDT 850
It was any like normal egg fried rice. Had a garlic flavour. If the price was lower I think thats suitable with this dish.
5. Orange juice : BDT 520
Orange was okay. It was fresh and just like someone had blended a entire orange. But the quantity is too less for the price.
Pro tip: Their garlic chilli sauce is too tasty. It’s spicy and garlicy at the same time. If one mix it with the price the taste of the food will be 10x times better.
Overall this price is definitely pricer than any other places. But then again the ambience, staff behaviour everything sum up for the price. If anyone wants a good dinning experience then they can surely visit it. As SOI 71 check all the boxes of being a cozy and aesthetic place, good food and very humble staff.

Review on Capawcino Cat Cafe
If you are going for the cat then do visit. But for their food and service just don’t. It’s a nice cozy place and they took 45 mins to serve a single dish. We ordered a thai soup and a mushroom soup and it took like a decade to serve. Waiter are too unprofessional. Like they dont know how to deal with customers. They doesn’t know which dish is going to come when. Which table a customer is sitting on. When to clean a table etc.
Now about the food. The thai soup was average type. There were shrimps and chicken so its good I would say. But the mushroom soup is just disgusting. It felt like there were some minced chicken and some cream and milk. Also they served it cold. Idk how they took 45 mins and serve a cold food.
If cat is your main attraction then restaurant should keep food which are easy to provide that way everyone would be okay.

If you are looking for budget friendly ramen which taste similar to buldak try Square new chopstick ramen hot cheese. It is very similar to the flavour of cheese samyang ramen. I also did added additional cheddar cheese. Topped it with tofu and seaweed and egg. Best topping so far.
The ramen taste is quite similar not but itself not as spicy as buldak ones. Also it kinda miss a spot.
Price :80 Tk each ( There are two packet in one. It cost 170 for two).

A few days back we went to try out the viral butter chicken momo from King's Momo. But all I have to say is that I am utterly disappointed with the momo
To be very fair it tasted more like momo in murgi mangso ER jhol. The gravy was not thick at all for this it gave the texture of mangsho er jhol. And moreover those were overcooked. Like the wrapping was falling off. And I also didn't like the seating arrangement at all. It was inside a garage and not so clean. There were mosquitoes everywhere.
Overall it was a very unpleasant experience.

Went to Dhanmondi a few days back and took their boom boom platter. This platter consisted of falafel, rice, chicken, small beef skewers,roti and hummus. This platter was so light and tasted so good especially their humus. Their hummus was far much better than Al Amar. Also their dipping sauce is tangy and side by side garlicy which actually enhances the taste a lot. Like if I was only served with their dipping sauce and hummus I would still call it a fulfilling meal. I also ordered their Caramel latte which tasted so good tbh. Also the restaurant is so spacious and their server's behaviour is super super nice. I finished my hummus very early so their staff gave me another one. This would be my go to place from now on.

This is my very first food blog so I apologize at the very beginning for any mistake.
Visited ZEN few days back and had the chance to order their Cream Chicken Soup, Grilled Greek Chicken, Zen Sunset and Queen of the south

Cream of chicken ( 270 Tk++):
To be honest I don't really found any uniqueness with this dish. Prolly they used a lot of cream in it for which it tastes very rich and heavy and also would fulfill your stomach. But the overpower of the cream makes it a little bit sweet for my tastebud and size and texture of the chicken I guess should be more in dissolved position rather than little cubes. As I am having a soup not a pasta. But overall not bad

Grilled Greek Chicken ( 540 Tk++)
Okay so I am kind of in a confusing position about this dish. It's served fresh and you can smell the hint of butter and the real game player is the sauce. You can choose two sides from it. I took rice and mashed potatoes. Sauteed vegetables were also available for sides. The chicken marination was really much a meh for me. They put the sauce above and I guess for this it taste great otherwise without the save it might haven't been that much UpTo the mark. Pro tip: Combine rice, mashed potatoes and chicken and dip it in the sauce and then take a bite. It will taste fantastic this way.

Zen Sunset ( 270 Tk++):
This a drink with the combination of orange and pineapple. And let me tell it taste the best. You can taste the deep orange flavor just like you gave a bite into a real orange slice and then a hint of pineapple tanginess.

Queen of the south/ Lychee mojito (270 Tk ++):
Okay I forgot if the name was queen of the sea of lychee mojita but there was an item and it was something related to the sea and had a flavor of lychee (if you get confused just say it to the staff XD) okay so I guess they prepared it with soda and lychee flavor and it's a real refreshment drink I tell you. You would get the touch of lychee after some of the soda. Best for summer

All in all I loved the decorations and we went there around 2:30 or 3 pm but it was too much crowded and people were clicking pictures here and there so we really didn't enjoy the vibes of it's Pinterest or coziness. But their food quality is top notch in terms of serving fresh I guess.

Ever wanted something that is both crispy and spicy? Then you can easily order the naga wings available at BFC. I guess just by looking at the picture you can guess how much spice masala is on it. It is crispy, crunchy and gives you a spicy kick at the same time.It is not like chillox naga drum which is just tasteless and spicy out of the way so nothing to worry. Also pair it up with their thousand island sauce for only 20 Tk and these naga wings will taste heavenly. The taste is actually so good. 8 pcs of naga wings with a coke is a very fulfilling meal tbh.

Tried George's Bistro drink a few months back. It was a sudden decision while shopping for some sneakers. The drink was known as the Red Rose. To be very honest I really didn't have much of an expectation from this because it really was not a known cafe or a coffee shop. With the very least expectations I went and ordered it. But let me tell you with the very first sip all my judgment went wrong. It was so unique in its taste and had a very beautiful color. It was a combination of dragon fruit and soda and some mint and like perhaps but it was so utterly tasty and chilling and I really can't express how the whole experience went.
Price was 180 Tk
I don't know if they still operate but it's really really worth trying
