2 week break is incoming!!! Last two days of trade this week then we won’t be back at the park until September 21st! Wowee!

75 years old and counting 🥳

This van has lived through dust, damage, breakdowns, mushroom fungus, broken glass and full-blown demolition. But she’s also lived through determination, fresh paint, new dreams, and a whole lot of caffeine. The glow-up wasn’t easy — but damn, it was worth it.

We are open this week from Monday - Thursday and so excited to be back for the last week of school holidays!
The cake cabinet will be stocked and the usual Bacon and Egg English muffins are still available!
We are still waiting for packaging to arrive so our new menu items aren’t quite ready yet but will be soon!
The van looks a little different to this now we can’t wait to see what you think! 🙈🥳 Happy holidays everyone and see you soon!

Day 3 🥂🍹
The van is back together and we are ready for painting!!!

How incredible is this shed thanks to Kurt and Jason at Shift Engineering for keeping us sheltered from the rain that’s heading our way tomorrow! We are so grateful it’s been the absolute best to have the van there for the weekend. 🥳🍻

All the wet soggy rotten wood has been replaced, the van bogged and sanded then a big clean down ready for painting!
It will all come together pretty quickly now 🥂
Can’t wait to share more tomorrow 😍🥳💕

Renovation Day 1 🥂
The van you know and love is looking a little different!

Things we have discovered:
🤦‍♀️ This van has been at least 4 maybe 5 different colours in its 75 years of life. Including red, orange, yellow, black and there’s some blue in there!
🤦‍♀️ Good thing we are doing this now if we left it another year we would be replacing the wood everywhere
🤦‍♀️ Heat guns are great for removing multi layers of paint until you put your hand in-front of them
🤦‍♀️ Be prepared for multiple trips to the hardware store even if you think you sorted everything
🤦‍♀️ Vintage vans are awesome except for the fact that they are vintage 😂

So far we are having fun and no arguments or tears 😂
Can’t wait to see it all come back together 💕
