🚨 HELP WANTED... IMMEDIATELY 🚨
Hi.
Do you currently possess the majority of your fingers?
Can you usually tell the difference between chicken and steak without asking someone else?
Excellent.
You're ticking an alarming number of boxes already.
Have you ever been cooking dinner at home and thought...
"You know what would make this more enjoyable? About 97 strangers all wanting their dinner in the next 12 minutes."
Neither had we.
Yet here we are.
At Fox & Hounds Steakhouse we're looking for someone to run their own section – whether that's plating, fryer or pans.
Ideally, we're after the sort of person who:
🍳 Has cooked before.
🔥 Doesn't panic when something starts sizzling.
🧂 Knows that "season to taste" doesn't mean emptying half the salt container.
⚡ Can keep up when we accidentally seat half of Wahroonga at the same time.
There's just one catch...
We're looking for someone who can work a minimum of 4 nights a week, with Friday, Saturday and Sunday being three of those nights.
Apparently that's when all these inconsiderate customers decide they'd like to eat.
Experience is great....
No experience?! That's honestly okay too.
If you're someone who genuinely loves food, learns quickly, works hard, and wants to become a seriously good cook, we'll teach you everything else.
We're a dinner-only restaurant, so you'll still have your mornings (and most afternoons) free.
You'll get paid trial shifts because we'd rather see how you work than read another resume claiming you're a "fast learner with excellent communication skills."
No corporate nonsense.
No screaming chefs throwing pans.
No reality TV drama.
Just good people, great steaks, and the occasional moment where everyone collectively wonders why there are suddenly 38 eye fillets on order at exactly the same time.
❤️ Paid trial shifts. Good people. Great food. No egos.

If this sounds like your kind of chaos, send us a message with a little about yourself (and your resume if you have one).
We'll supply the apron.
You supply the enthusiasm.
We'll work on the knife skills together. 😉
