July Club of the Month – Wantirna South Senior Football Club

Established in 1952, the Wantirna South Football Club has been a proud part of the Knox community for more than 70 years. Based at Walker Reserve in the heart of Wantirna South, the Devils were founded through the vision and dedication of local residents who wanted to create opportunities for community members to play Australian Rules football.

Today, the club fields four senior teams, including senior men's, senior women's and Under 19s sides, competing in the Eastern Football Netball League. With a strong connection to the Wantirna South Junior Football Club, the Devils provide a clear pathway for young footballers to develop and progress into senior football.

Built on a foundation of passionate supporters, dedicated volunteers and a commitment to fostering young talent, Wantirna South Football Club continues to be a welcoming and inclusive environment where players, families and the wider community can thrive. As they continue to build on a proud history, the Devils remain focused on creating lasting memories and a strong legacy for future generations.

The Starlight Foundation helps bring happiness, fun and positive experiences to seriously ill children and their families. Through hospital programs, Captain Starlight visits, wish-granting experiences and ongoing support, Starlight helps brighten difficult days and create moments of joy when they're needed most. 💫

Over the years, Knox Club has proudly made generous donations to support this incredible cause, and with the help of our members and guests, we look forward to continuing that support.

🎤 Sub Club Spotlight: The Entertainment Group 🎶

Did you know Knox Club is home to a number of fantastic sub clubs? This week we're shining the spotlight on one of our longest-running groups, the Entertainment Group!

Established in 1995, the Entertainment Group has spent almost 30 years bringing music, laughter and companionship to our local community. Their members regularly visit aged care and retirement facilities throughout Knox and surrounding suburbs, providing an afternoon of singing, entertainment and connection for residents.

Whether it's a classic sing-along, group performance, dancing, clapping along to the music or simply sharing a smile, the group's goal is simple – bringing joy to others through entertainment and friendship. ❤️

The Entertainment Group also plays a big role in our Friday Night Sub Club Raffles and hosts two special performances each year for Knox Club members and guests.

🎄 Their popular Half-Yearly Christmas Show is coming up soon!

Join the Entertainment Group for an afternoon of music, fun and festive cheer as they perform a variety of favourite songs and community sing-alongs.
