Weekends are for catching up with friends at the pub, good food on the table and a few drinks in the sunshine. ☀️

With plenty of great outdoor spots to choose from, pull up a chair in our alfresco area or B**r Garden and order a few snacks to share, like our White Bean Hummus with pickled zucchini, mint salsa and flatbread, or Black Pepper Pork Skewers with braised daikon and soy & sesame cucumber salad.

Sunday lunch looks good from every angle at The Glebe. 💜

Find a table beneath the jacarandas, by the open doors or tucked away amongst the heritage brick — there’s really no bad spot in our Stables Dining Room.

And this Sunday’s roast is worth taking a seat for: Pork Belly with crackling, burnt apple sauce and c***r pork jus, served with all the trimmings.

Alongside our regular Roast Beef with Yorkshire pudding & onion gravy, and Nut Roast with shiitake jus.

Bring a few people, order a bottle for the table and make an afternoon of it.

A little sunshine, a little firelight. The Stables does both rather well. ☀️🔥

On the table, our Veal & Spinach Lasagne — layers of veal ragù and béchamel with zucchini & mascarpone sauce. Rich, comforting, but with enough freshness to make it just as good a choice for spring.

Pair it with a glass of Underground Pinot Noir from Mornington Peninsula — bright red fruit, gentle spice and a little savoury earthiness, beautifully matched with the richness of the lasagne.

Our light-filled Dining Room opens straight onto the B**r Garden, catching the afternoon sun beautifully. And when the temperature drops, you can be sure we’ll have the fire going.

Golden hour looks pretty good from the Stables. ✨

With daylight savings back, our Stables Dining Room comes into its own — light-filled, doors opening onto the B**r Garden and the afternoon sun streaming in while you settle in for dinner.

And our Whole Flounder feels made for spring — confit potato & tomatoes, parsley and sauce Grenobloise, bringing plenty of lemon, caper and buttery goodness to the plate.

Pair it with a glass of Quealy ‘Balnarring’ Pinot Grigio — dry, textural and fresh with pear, citrus and subtle savoury notes. A beautiful match for delicate fish and lemon.
