We in the community need the support of locals and tourists alike more than ever in these trying times.

And trust us, the minute it becomes unsafe to visit The Grampians, the people who live there will let you know 🙂

Good morning zoo supporters,

We have had quite a few calls in the last few days asking if we are open, due to some misinformation given by the media. Please note we are NOT evacuating our animals and are safe and open for business. There are currently no fires affecting the Halls Gap area and we were only closed for 2 days a few weeks ago due to road closures affecting access to the zoo.

Now more than ever, the businesses of Halls Gap need your support. After the local Halls Gap businesses had to close for a few days due to the fires a few weeks go, we are now calling on tourism to support us.
We have been fortunate in not needing to evacuate our animals (however, we are always prepared just in case). Please keep an eye on our social media for updates, we will let you know if anything changes in the future and we need to close.
But for now- please support regional Victoria and our beautiful Halls Gap!

An update for anybody paying attention to what is happening at the moment.
Unfortunately along with many others our family home has been lost in some nasty bushfires through Pomonal.
