The Australian Celtic Festival in Glen Innes may be a few months away but here at The Scottish Tablet Co, the packaging preparations are underway.

Each label is hand-stamped and the ribbons and twine are cut.

Once the tablet is made, much closer to the date, and again, all hand-made, not factory produced, each bag will be manually filled, weighed, labelled and tied - this process takes many hours. The final step is the trip to the post office with 13.5kgs of Scottish Tablet to pack and send to Glen Innes Highlands where you can get your sugar fix.

Then home for a well deserved cuppa ☕️

The above is the reason we love to support local and hand-made where possible as we truly appreciate the work and dedication that goes into each item.

The festival this year highlighs the Year of Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿. There will be international music, pipe bands, dancing, and markets. Tickets for the 2026 event will be available soon so keep an eye on their page - Australian Celtic Festival
